Issac netero's character in this arc is entirely different like before this point he was a goofy,optimistic guy then he starts acting more cynical as of this arc which makes no sense as it was given no proper buildup like how do you go from a guy like to someone as dark as The level of knowledge chimera ants have at birth is inconsistent like some characters dont even know what names are while others can verbatim remember exact names and details of their past

There are also just a bunch of characters that are introduced for no reason and serve no purpose to the narrative whatsoever like kite's friends as a example also this arc has a bunch of stupid lines like morel saying any one nen user can beat another though tactics but in series that remark has been debunked time and time again like hisoka no diffing the phantom troupe and franklin no diffing the nostrade family's guardsĪsspulls also happen quite often like morel being able to hold his breath underwater for as long as a whale despite that never even being hinted at before or how gon turns into a adult to neg pitou another example would be meruem gaining power by eating his own kind which makes no sense because he would of ate his mother if he could of done that the entire time. The queen also has human genetics which explains her getting pregnant among other things but that makes no sense since she supposedly came from the dark continent and that line from ging is stupid anyway as their was a whole colony that kite killed in the first episode of this arc also why do they just find human sized ants now when that should been a thing for awhilie considering how much human genetics the queen really has compared to most members to her species who mind you just look like normal ants She is also resilient enough to survive being punched by a Nen-using Rammot.First off would be that it switches villains far too quickly without proper establishing the threat that exists at the moment like the queen and her chidren have been the only threat throughout yet the focus later shifts to the chimera ant king which makes this story arc feel like two entirely different arcs reallyĪlso the queen is killed off anti climatically for no reason also her getting pregnant as if she's a human makes no sense as she has only ever laid eggs before that point
